Shown here are computer ratings and rankings of NCAA basketball teams -- Divisions I, II, and III -- using the algorithm developed by David Wilson (UW-Milwaukee '65, '66; UW-Madison '67). I have produced his ratings on the men's hoops side for over 20 years, and offered the women's ratings for about 10.
The Wilson formula is designed to rate teams based only on past performance. It is not designed to predict future results.
Each division has an "everything page" with standings, ratings, and conference rankings. They are in the menu at the left, and also are here: D-I, D-II, and D-III.
