Men's Division I

Each column below is sortable; just click the header. The overall Rating is a combination of two elements:

• A score-based calculation: if you would like to predict the score of any hypothetical matchup, use the Points column. Just subtract. Make sure to adjust for home field, which is probably about 0.25 goals for college hockey.
• And, a component that considers strength of schedule and how recently games were played (giving more weight to more recent results). This shows up in the "BCS" column -- it is a lot like the "politically-correct" computer systems that were not allowed to consider margin of victory when the Bowl Championship Series was around.
