"How are these ratings determined?"

A computer program, developed by Prof. Wesley Colley here at UAH, is used.  His method is also a part of the Bowl Championship Series, or BCS.

Basically, here is what DOES matter:

• Winning games.
• Defeating good teams, and not losing to bad teams.

Here is what DOES NOT matter:

• Margin of victory.
• Time of day, time of year, injuries.
• The number of forfeits a team has (a forfeit is a loss, though).
